Vitality, Warmth & Encouragement

characterize our life groups.

In Life Group, members care for each other, grow spiritually together and experience a sense of belonging. The groups are gatherings where people are invited into a joy-filled Christian community. Life Groups provide a setting where people are encouraged as close fellowship is experienced.

Life Groups help us experience the essence of early Christianity when believers met with each other regularly in their homes to encourage one another, pray for one another, and share their faith with friends and neighbors.

We are blessed to have wonderful facilities for hundreds to gather for worship, ministry and fellowship. But nothing can replace the kind of intimate and meaningful fellowship that occurs in our homes. Life Groups are one way to keep that special part of our fellowship strong.
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Acts 2:42-47

what are life groups?

A Place of Connection

In these circles of friends, individuals find a place of connection with other believers. But also. Life Groups provide a time, space and means to facilitate a closer connection with God.

A Place of Care

Each group provides a caring community for people feeling isolated in an impersonal world. Life Group members share each other’s struggles and victories. They respond to needs within the group, and beyond it.

A Place of Change

Through time spent together praying, discussing and sharing, some will develop a faith for the first time and choose to give their life to Christ.  For a believer, the spiritual discipline of participating in a group can help one grow in his discipleship to Christ and gradually become more like our Lord.

A Place of Leadership Development

Life Groups have leaders, co-leaders and primary hosts.  Each of these roles allow people to grow in their leadership.  Likewise, training for such leadership is usually provided in the fall.
